1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using CampusDrop, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Eligibility
- CampusDrop is for students and university users at supported campuses.
- You must provide truthful account, campus, age, profile, and verification information.
- You must be old enough to use CampusDrop under applicable law and must not use CampusDrop if you are under 13.
- We may restrict or remove access if we cannot verify eligibility or if we believe an account is fake, unsafe, or ineligible.
3. Account registration and OTP login
Students sign up and log in using email OTP or other supported authentication methods. You are responsible for keeping access to your email secure and for activity that happens through your account.
4. CampusDrop services
CampusDrop may provide Friend Drop, Date or Connection Drop, weekly matching, chat between matched users, anonymous confessions, roommate and room posts, referrals, invites, support requests, campaigns, and related admin or analytics features.
Features may change, pause, or end as the product evolves.
5. No guarantee of matches or outcomes
CampusDrop does not guarantee that you will receive a match every week, that a match will respond, or that any friendship, date, relationship, roommate arrangement, or offline outcome will occur.
6. User responsibilities and conduct
- Do not harass, bully, threaten, abuse, stalk, or sexually harass anyone.
- Do not post hate speech, discriminatory content, explicit unwanted content, scams, spam, or illegal content.
- Do not impersonate others, create fake accounts, misrepresent your identity, or use another person's photos without permission.
- Do not share private information about another person without permission, including phone numbers, addresses, class schedules, IDs, screenshots, or sensitive details.
- Do not interfere with CampusDrop, scrape the service, bypass security, or use CampusDrop for unlawful activity.
7. Safety and offline interactions
You are responsible for your own decisions and offline interactions. Meet in public or campus areas, tell a friend, verify details before paying deposits or sharing sensitive information, and contact local emergency services if you are in immediate danger.
CampusDrop does not verify every claim a user makes and cannot control what users do outside the app.
8. User content
You retain ownership of content you submit, such as profile text, photos, messages, confessions, comments, roommate posts, and support submissions.
You grant CampusDrop a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, display, process, transmit, moderate, and use that content as needed to operate, improve, secure, and promote the service.
You must have the rights needed to upload or share your content.
9. Moderation and enforcement
CampusDrop may remove content, restrict features, suspend or terminate accounts, block access, preserve records, or contact campus or legal authorities when appropriate for safety, fraud prevention, policy enforcement, or legal compliance.
10. Referrals, rewards, and campaigns
- Referral rewards and sponsored campaigns may be subject to verification, availability, location, timing, and additional rules.
- CampusDrop may modify, pause, cancel, or end campaigns where necessary.
- Fraud, self-referrals, duplicate accounts, fake identities, or manipulation may lead to disqualification and account action.
- Sponsored or partner experiences may involve separate terms or safety requirements.
11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
CampusDrop is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, perfect matches, error-free operation, or that user content is accurate.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, CampusDrop will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.
12. Indemnification
You agree to be responsible for claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your misuse of CampusDrop, your content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of another person's rights.
13. Changes, termination, and governing law
We may update these Terms or change CampusDrop features from time to time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or create risk for CampusDrop or other users.
These Terms are governed by applicable law. CampusDrop should obtain legal review before publishing jurisdiction-specific governing-law language.
