1. Respect students
CampusDrop is for students to meet people from their campus with less awkwardness and more care. Treat classmates like real people, not profiles to collect or content to mock.
2. Consent and boundaries
- Respect a no, a slow reply, an unmatched chat, or a boundary the first time.
- Do not pressure someone for dates, photos, personal contact details, money, favors, or explanations.
- Do not send explicit or sexual content unless it is clearly welcomed and appropriate. Unwanted explicit content is not allowed.
3. Harassment, hate, and abuse
- No harassment, bullying, threats, intimidation, stalking, or coordinated targeting.
- No hate speech or discrimination based on gender, caste, religion, race, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or other protected or personal characteristics.
- No threats of violence, self-harm baiting, blackmail, extortion, or intimidation.
4. Be real
- Do not impersonate someone else or create fake identities.
- Use photos and profile details you have the right to use.
- Do not create duplicate accounts to manipulate matches, referrals, campaigns, or moderation.
5. Privacy and doxxing
Do not share another person's private information without permission. This includes phone numbers, addresses, IDs, class schedules, private screenshots, family details, financial details, or other sensitive information.
6. Confessions
- Confessions can be honest, funny, vulnerable, or campus-specific, but they cannot be used to attack, expose, threaten, shame, or identify someone without consent.
- Do not post rumors, private information, explicit content, targeted insults, or content that could reasonably put a student at risk.
7. Roommate and room posts
- Be truthful about rooms, rent, availability, location, expectations, and costs.
- Do not ask for suspicious deposits, hide material details, discriminate unlawfully, or pressure someone to move forward before they are comfortable.
- Keep roommate conversations practical and respectful.
8. Chat rules
Chats should be respectful, consensual, and relevant. No spam, scams, harassment, sexual pressure, hate, threats, or attempts to move someone off-platform for unsafe reasons.
9. Reporting and enforcement
Report suspicious behavior, harmful content, harassment, or safety concerns through support or available reporting tools. CampusDrop may remove content, limit features, suspend accounts, or take other action when needed to protect students and the platform.
